EFT tapping for Phobias.

Ann had a severe phobia of dogs since she was 2 years old. I told her mom that I might be able to help her with a technique that I use that addresses the emotional overload that Ann probably has with dogs.

Her mom told me the story that when Ann was 2 years old, she loved dogs, had no fear of them, until one day she called one over to pet it and the dog in its excitement toppled her and got entangled with Ann and it took a while to get them untangled.

Ever since that trauma, Ann has been totally phobic of dogs, to the point that if given a choice of a dog approaching her or her running away into oncoming traffic, Ann was heading toward the cars.

I worked with Ann for approximately 15 minutes and I kept checking her imagined intensity of her fear of dogs. After 15 minutes she said it was almost zero but, with a 7 year old, it is hard to tell. So I told her mother to go home and test it.

Within 1 hour after leaving my office, I received a call from Ann's mom telling me that as soon as they got home, one of the neighborhood dogs was outside. This would usually send Ann running into her house, but not this time. Ann actually petted the dog and hand fed it a treat for the first time in 5 years.

Later that day Ann and her mom went to an aunt’s house who had a very big dog who, for the last 5 years, was locked up every time that Ann came by. But this time Ann was fine with the dog being out and even played ball with the dog and took a ball out of its mouth.

The mother was very impressed by this EFT succes.

Can Vitamin C kill Swine Flu?

Antiviral drugs, such as Tamiflu (oseltamivir), work by inhibiting something called neuraminidase, produced by viruses and essential for their ability to replicate. So too does vitamin C according to recent research. This study tested the effects of a combination of ascorbic acid, green tea extract, lysine, proline, N-acetyl cysteine, selenium among other micronutrients on cells infected with influenza. This combination was also tested in a study on cells infected with bird flu, in many respects similar to swine flu. According to the authors the nutrient mixture “demonstrated high antiviral activity evident even at prolonged periods after infection. Antiviral properties were comparable to those of conventional drugs (amantadine and oseltamivir); however, the nutrient mixture had the advantage of affecting viral replication at the late stages of the infection process.“ Unlike the drugs, there are no significant side-effects. The effect of vitamin C alone was less than that of the combination of nutrients and, in combination, moderate doses of vitamin C exerted a significant anti-viral effect.
